(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Go Daddy (www.godaddy.com) announced on Wednesday it now has more than 3,000 people and is looking to hire at least 350 more in the weeks ahead.
A majority of Go Daddy's employees work in the company's Customer Care centers, all based in the US.Despite the recession, the company has managed to double in size in less than four years.
"We know people like to use the Internet to communicate, shop, research, play games and more," said Go Daddy CEO and founder Bob Parsons. "But when it comes to solving a problem or figuring out how to improve their website ... people want to talk to people."
Go Daddy says it takes on an "around-the-clock personalized brand of customer service," which includes extensive training for its employee.
In addition to offering positions in its Customer Care department, Go Daddy is also looking to fill positions in the aeras of Linux and .NET engineers, I-T development, marketing, accounting and facilities.
The company provides a range of employee benefits including three-week paid vacations starting in the first year of employment, 100 percent company-paid medical and dental plans, team building initiatives, financial incentives, and bonuses and prizes for top performers.
Founded in 2000, Go Daddy has facilities and offices in Hiawatha, Iowa, Denver and Washington, DC. In recent years, Go Daddy has expanded with a facility in Toronto, Canada and data centers in The Netherlands and Singapore.

Web hosting provider Firehost also announced Wednesday that it is currently hiring in all departments including networking, development, customer support, sales and marketing.
