(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Hacking group LulzSec (http://www.lulzsecurity.com/) leaked personal details of Arizona law enforcement on Thursday in response to the state's anti-immigration law, SB1070.
In a statement released Thursday, LulzSec says it has "hundreds of private intelligence bulletins, training manuals, personal email correspondence, names, phone numbers, addresses and passwords."
The group says it targeted Arizona because it is a "racial profiling anti-immigrant police state."
LulzSec has been on a roll hacking government entities lately, with attacks directed at the CIA and the US Senate in recent weeks.
According to LulzSec the files are mostly related to border patrol and counter-terrorism operations.
In the press release LulzSec outlined its plans for the coming weeks:
"Every week we plan on releasing more classified documents and embarrassing personal details of military and law enforcement in an effort not just to reveal their racist and corrupt nature but to purposefully sabotage their efforts to terrorize communities fighting an unjust 'war on drugs.'"
The UK has been cracking down on hackers as of late, arresting a 19-year-old earlier this week in connection with the Sony PlayStation Network outage.
