Cloud Service for Traders Launched

(The Hosting News) – NYSE Euronext, the company that operates security exchanges for the New York Stock Exchange, has announced the launch of a service that will give Wall Street trading firms the ability to access New York Stock exchange services directly through the cloud.

The cloud platform called “Capital Markets Community Platform” was created by NYSE Technologies in partnership with VMware Inc. and EMC Corp. and will include historical market data and analytics services used by Wall Street traders.

In a statement, NYSE Technologies (division of NYSE Euronext) said the service is “designed to increase business agility, simplify market access and reduce trading friction by utilizing rapid on-demand computing resources.”

The cloud platform will utilize the corporation’s new data center in Mahwah, New Jersey. Prior to the cloud platform’s launch, NYSE Euronext provided the services by hosting them from the corporation’s network.
